The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is preparing for the 35th National Energy Conservation Awards (NECA), scheduled for December 14. This event will recognize outstanding achievements in energy savings and sustainability across multiple categories, such as industries, transport, buildings, and energy-efficient appliances. A new category for digital content creators and influencers has also been introduced. BEE Director General Dheeraj Kumar Srivastava emphasized that NECA symbolizes India's dedication to innovation and climate responsibility. The awards aim to foster competition among stakeholders, encouraging them to achieve greater energy savings and sustainable outcomes.
