Why it matters
The A.P. State Energy Conservation Mission (A.P.-SECM) is inviting schoolchildren to participate in a Short Video Competition focused on energy efficiency and conservation. The theme for this year's competition is 'Bright ideas, brighter future: Energy efficiency challenge for schoolchildren.' These videos should highlight innovative concepts related to energy efficiency and sustainable practices. The competition is part of the lead-up to National Energy Conservation Week, which will take place from December 14 to 20, 2025. Prizes include ₹20,000 for first place, ₹10,000 for second, and ₹5,000 for third, along with ten consolation prizes of ₹2,000 each. The deadline for submissions is December 10, 2025.
