On 2026-05-13, India’s Union Cabinet approved extending the Airports Authority of India land-lease period to MIHAN India Limited beyond 06.08.2039 to enable MIHAN India Limited to license Nagpur Airport to GMR Nagpur International Airport Limited for 30 years from the Commercial Operation Date (COD).
