Eligible NPOs can use Malaysia’s Social Exchange route for regulated impact fundraising

- — NPOs participating on the Social Exchange can seek support from the RM2 million SC-administered grant — the grant is aimed at partially defraying onboarding and fundraising costs.
- — Donors supporting listed Social Exchange projects can rely on the stated tax-treatment route — donations are eligible under subsection 44(6) and paragraph 13(1) of Schedule 6 of the Income Tax Act 1967.
