DGFT revises Standard Input Output Norms for six Chemical and Allied Products SIONs with immediate effect
Exporters of caustic soda, gelatine, ossein, and chlorinated paraffin variants holding or applying for Advance Authorisations must use the revised SION input ratios from 29 May 2026 — applying old ratios creates duty recovery exposure.
- — Exporters of caustic soda flakes/solid, gelatine, ossein, and chlorinated paraffin variants must update Advance Authorisation applications and redemption filings to use the revised SION input ratios from 29 May 2026 — filing with superseded ratios creates duty recovery and disallowance exposure on DGFT audit.
- — Export compliance and customs teams must update internal SION reference tables for A1090, A1794, A1827, A3105, A3106, and A3107 immediately — open Advance Authorisations being redeemed must be checked against the new ratios before submission.
